What is a Postage Stamp Plane?
Postage Stamp Planes are small, highly detailed die-cast model aircraft. Scales vary as they are designed to fit within standard size boxes. This also helps when building a collection as they will all fit on the same size shelving.
Approximate wingspans are as follows:
Around 10-12 cms wingspan for a typical WW1 or WW2 fighter
Around 20cms wingspan for WW2 bombers

What's in the box?
Each model has a full colour outer box with square cutouts top & bottom. This allows you to view the model's upper & lower surfaces.
Inside the model is protected in a clam-shell style, see through plastic moulding. This holds the model firmly in place but doesn't touch the areas of fine detail, such as propellers, guns, aerials etc. This helps to ensure that the model reaches you in perfect condition.
The clam shell is welded shut so you can have 100% confidence that your new PSP model is untouched. This is particularly important for those collectors who want to maintain their models as 'in the box' condition for maximum investment potential.
Does it include a stand?
Yes, each model comes with a matching stand so that it can be posed in straight & level flight. Models with retractable undercarriages are presented as wheels up.
