Heinkel III

The Heinkel III was designed as a civil airliner, but in early WWII it became the Luftwaffe's principal bomber. Heinkel's used BMW and Daimler Benz motors of up to 1000 hp each. This German bomber was used in Poland, Norway, Denmark, France and during the Battle of Britain. Maximum speed was 227 mph and its range was 1200 miles. Armaments included 1-20 mm machine gun, 3 7.92 mm guns plus 1,000 kg of bombs. Scale 1/140
